The Consortium of Indian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Marketers Association (CIPMMA) in Tamil Nadu, as part of its 8th annual general body meeting (AGM) scheduled for May 2 and 3 this year in Pondicherry will organise a seminar on ‘the techniques of pharma marketing to boost the marketing potential of its members.

CIPMMA is an association working for the welfare of the pharmaceutical marketers in the country. The AGM will deliberate on how to expand the activities of the organisation all over India by uniting all pharma marketers under one umbrella. T Satheesh, general manager, corporate services, Tablets India Ltd will speak on ‘Know the known in pharma marketing’.

Kannan, convener of the apex committee, said the 8th AGM of CIPMMA will be held at the St James Court Beach Resort at Pondicherry and it will be attended by 350 registered delegates, nominated by district committees from across Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. Tamil Nadu drugs control department director, S Abdul Khadar and deputy director K Sivabalan will be the Chief Guests in the function.

S V Veeramani, All India president of the Indian Drugs Manufacturers Association (IDMA) will be the Guest of Honour. M Rajaratinam, chairman of the Tamil Nadu IDMA, A Karunai Kadal, Chairman of CIPMMA, and T Satheesh will deliver on the scope of  pharma marketing in Tamil Nadu. The meeting will also discuss the forthcoming pharmaceutical exhibition, Pharmac South-2015.

On the first day of the AGM, Sivakumar Bellan from ‘Simple and Smart Solutions’ will deliver a talk on ‘The Journey of being an Entrepreneur’.
